Hiba Michel Akaoui

Hiba Michel Akkaoui is a distinguished executive expert with over 22 years of experience in learning and development, organizational culture, human resources management, and strategic planning. She is recognized for her expertise in change management, team building, enhancing employee experience, and developing strategies that align with organizational goals. Passionate about humanitarian volunteer work, she actively contributes to supporting local communities.
Currently, Hiba serves as Assistant Vice President for Learning, Development, and Organizational Change at the Jordan Ahli Bank (2018–present). In this role, she leads organizational development strategies and performance improvement programs, designs and implements employee experience enhancement policies, and supports personal development planning for senior executives.
Previously, she worked as Learning and Development Manager at Bank al Etihad (2011–2018), where she designed tailored training programs aligned with corporate goals and supervised leadership programs and monthly performance reports (KPIs). At HSBC (2006–2011), she identified training needs across various employee levels and implemented effective development programs. Earlier in her career, she served as Prepaid Cards Sales Supervisor at Wanadoo (2001–2006).
Hiba holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Amman Al-Ahliyya University (2000). She has earned certifications from prestigious institutions such as Harvard and Franklin Covey in leadership, change management, and employee experience.
