According to the institute's by-law, the Board of Trustees is formed and chaired by the Minister of Public Sector Development.
The institute’s by-law stipulated in the provisions of Article No. (7-A) that The Institute shall have a Board of Trusteese to carry out the following duties:
Approving the Institute’s strategic directions, plans and priorities in line with the needs of the public sector and national priorities and plans
Adopting the necessary policies to implement the Institute’s tasks and activities.
Approval of human resources plans in the institute
Approval of amendments to the organizational structure of the Institute in preparation for their approval according to the rules
Approving partnership plans prepared by the Institute and supporting opportunities to access potential Partnership
Forming the necessary committees to assist him in carrying out his duties, provided that the decision to form them specifies the number of their members, their duties, and how they make their recommendations and decisions.
Discussing reports related to the implementation of plans and strategies, reviewing and evaluating the Institute’s activities, and making the necessary decisions for development and improvement.
Approval of the Institute’s annual budget project to proceed with its approval procedures according to the rules
Approval of the annual report on the Institute’s activities, work, achievements and final financial statements
Issuing instructions related to the management of the institute
