
The Steering Committee of the Twinning Project between the Institute of public administration and the Finnish Institute of Public Management, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection in Germany, the University of Applied Sciences (German Kiel), and the National School of Public Administration in Croatia held its first meeting under the theme "Enhancing Capacities of the Jordanian General Administration Institute."
The institute clarified in a statement today, Tuesday, that this project, funded by the European Union in cooperation with the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation, aims to enhance the capacities and efficiency of public sector employees and the level of services provided by measuring the impact in line with the institute's strategy for the years 2023-2025.
It also aims to enhance the operations of the Jordanian General Administration Institute in building the capacities of public sector administrations in Jordan according to the best international and European practices in this field.
The meeting, chaired by the General Director of the Institute, Engineer Siham Al-Khawaldeh, in the presence of representatives from the European Union and the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation, as well as the resident expert, discussed and agreed upon the project's executive plan for the next six months. This includes the launch event date, expected attendance, organizational details of the event scheduled for the end of May, as well as the timing of upcoming activities and the number of participants from Jordan, Finland, Germany, and Croatia.
It is worth noting that the project will last for 24 months in cooperation with public administration institutions in Finland, Germany, and Croatia.
